Starting Out...

I wish that I had started blogging way earlier, as in when i started writing the story that I am currently working on. Oh well! I am writing a type of fantasy book BUT I dont really know if it is a type of fan fiction or if it is really my own work... Anyone know how to tell?? Also, I really want to get published... Ummmm... HOW DO I DO THAT???
